Dry Skin
Finding a good skincare routine can be difficult and takes some time. Many factors affect your skin’s condition and needs - such as age, stress, weather, diet, and the products you use. A good start is to identify your skin type and then test and see what products work best for you and your skin. Here is a simple skincare routine for mature skin.
There are a few products that should be included in every skincare routine – the right cleansing products, proper hydration and some active products that do something extra for the skin. You can always supplement your daily routine with a peeling or face mask based on your skin’s current condition.
Cleansing
Cleansing is essential for fresh and healthy skin. Consider using a softening, gentle oil based cleanser such as Melting Cleansing Balm or Cleansing Oil that effectively cleanses the skin without drying it out. If you want to completely avoid washing your face with water, invest in a fragrance-free Cleansing Micellar Water that easily removes dirt and makeup while hydrating the skin. Works perfectly both morning and evening.
Treatment
Dry skin may need some help to remove dead skin cells on the surface that make the skin appear dull and gray. Treatment Enzyme Peel quickly and gently exfoliates the skin using AHA and BHA acids and gives the skin a nice glow.
Boosters and Serum
After cleansing, boost your dry skin with extra moisture in the form of Moisturising Serum or Ageless Serum. Both products absorb easily into the skin and deeply hydrate.
Hydration
Dry skin needs both hydration and oil. Go for a day cream and night cream with plenty of moisture, preferably in combination with oil. Our Moisturising and Sensitive series are suitable for dry skin and are available in both day and night creams. Feel free to combine a few drops of Botanical Glow Oil for extra glow. Eye Cream
The skin around the eyes is thin and more sensitive, which is why dry lines often appear here.
