General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to your registration as a user for Emma S online shop and on all product orders that you make at www.emmas.com.
Prices
All prices include 25% VAT within Sweden. If you are shopping from another market, your local VAT rate will automatically be applied instead. Should the VAT rate change, Emma S reserves the right to adjust prices accordingly. Subject to any printing and typing errors, and products selling out.
Duties and taxes
Duties and taxes are included for all orders within the EU and Sweden.
For deliveries outside the EU, additional customs duties, taxes or import fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient.

These payments are handled by our partner Adyen to ensure fast and secure payments. Learn more about Adyen here.
Swish and PayPal are outside of Adyen’s agreement and are handled directly by us to the company in question. Read more about Swish here and PayPal here.
Payment via invoice is handled by Klarna AB. The invoice must be paid within 30 days from the invoice date. In the event of late or missed payment, a reminder fee and default interest will be added. Read more about Klarna's terms here.
General Data Protection Regulation
We process all personal data that is submitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When you register with Emma S as a user, you give consent for your personal data, and the product purchases you make in the Emma S online shop, to be saved and processed. The purpose of registering is to enable us to provide you with a high level of service and ensure that you receive the right goods. We guarantee that no details about you will be sold or used for mailings from a third party, your data is only for Emma S internal use. Customized mailings in the form of membership letters and the like may occur.
By registering with Emma S as a user you are also confirming that you are age 18 or over.

Delivery times / When will my goods be delivered?
We always do our best to make sure your order reaches you as quickly as possible.
Orders placed before 12.00 on weekdays are shipped the following business day (Monday–Friday). We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, and they usually leave our warehouse within 24 hours. During busy campaign periods, however, it may take up to 48 hours before your package is shipped.
Within Sweden, delivery usually takes 1–2 business days.
For orders within the EU, the estimated delivery time is 2–7 business days.
For deliveries outside the EU, delivery times may vary depending on the local carrier in your country. This means that exact delivery times can be difficult to predict.
Please note that during periods of high demand, such as Christmas, Black Week or other major shopping events, delivery times may be longer than usual.
Even though we always strive for fast deliveries, we unfortunately cannot guarantee exact delivery times, as the shipment is in the hands of the courier once it has left our warehouse.
Delivery charges / What will I be charged for the shipment?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout once you’ve entered your address. The delivery charge depends on your location and chosen shipping method. You’ll see the final shipping cost before completing your purchase.
We sometimes offer free shipping above a certain order value, as well as during special campaigns or promotional periods.

Delivery / How will my goods be delivered?
If you choose Postnord, you will have the option to choose which postal service centre you want your package to be delivered to. If nothing is selected, your package will automatically go to the Postnord service point that is closest to the delivery address you provided. If you provide a mobile number, and this service is available in your country, you will receive a text notification when your package is available for pickup. Otherwise, you will receive a notification by e-mail or mail. When you pick up your package, you will need to show your identification and the tracking number.
You can track your package through the tracking code found in your order confirmation.
Please observe that when your Postnord packages leave Sweden they might be handed over to a local carrier instead, depending on in which countries Postnord operates. Read more at postnord.com.
Outside of Sweden, you can also choose FedEx Economy and FedEx Priority with the only difference being the delivery time and carrier.
Do you ship to the UK?
We will no longer, as of January 1st 2023, be shipping to the UK due to new legislation. However, we hope to be able to offer this again in the future.
Unclaimed parcels
If your order is delivered by Postnord, the postal service will hold your parcel for two weeks for you to pick up. If you do not collect your parcel, you will be charged a shipping fee, a return shipping fee and handling fees, currently amounting to SEK 195 incl. VAT.
Order confirmation
When we have received your order, an order confirmation will automatically be sent to your registered e-mail address. Always make a habit of checking your order confirmation. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@emmas.com. Save your order confirmation so that you have it at hand whenever you contact us.
Campaigns and offers
We do not credit a discount afterwards in the event of a missed discount code or other offers.
Returns and Complaints
As a customer, you have 14 days right to cancel and receive a refund. The right-to-cancel period starts from the day you receive the item. In order to invoke your right to cancel, the item must be in its original, unbroken packaging. The cost of the item will be refunded, however, the customer pays the cost of returning the item. To help Emma S process an item that you consider to be faulty, and for you to retain your statutory rights, you should contact us regarding a complaint within a reasonable amount of time after you noticed, or should have noticed, the problem. If an item is faulty or incorrect, Emma S will pay for the return.
If, for some reason, you wish to return an item please contact Emma S customer service at support@emmas.com and state your full name, order number and the item(s) you wish to return. Then the following applies:
We send you a return order form, which must be returned together with the item(s).
Package the item(s) carefully to avoid damage in transit and send the parcel to us, together with the return order form. The address is: Emma S AB, Birger Jarlsgatan 58, 114 29 Stockholm, SWEDEN.
After a complaint/cancellation has been approved, we will refund the amount of your order to the card you used for payment within 14 days of the date we receive the returned item(s).
For invoice payments, return the goods to us in the same way and log on to “My Klarna”. Klarna will then manage your refund.
Changes to general terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions may be amended at any time. You can always find the latest version on the Emma S website. With this in mind, we recommend that you read through these terms and conditions prior to every purchase.
Applicable legislation
These terms and conditions and agreements between yourself and Emma S are subject to Swedish substantive law. Any disputes will be resolved by a Swedish court of law. Emma S AB (“Emma S”) is a Swedish incorporated company with corporate identification number 556775-4394.
ODR-platform/Disputes
If you have experienced a problem with a product that you bought from the Emma S webshop, and if you have not been able to settle the dispute directly with Emma S, you can file a complaint with the EU Online platform for disputes (the ODR-platform).
The platform aims to help businesses and consumers to reach an out-of-court settlement regarding disputes about merchandise bought online. The platform is free of charge and is available in all EU languages. You can find the platform here:http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
